Yeah, the light up one is pretty cool. You tap it to get it going, and the rim lights up. When I went to buy them, I thought I'd pay around $5.00 tops,
but even the "cheap" ones with the store's logo on them were $8.00!! There were Frisbee golf sets too, a set of three, labelled
"putter" "driver" and something else I couldn't see. I've never played Frisbee golf, so I don't get why you'd need THREE
and why they're marked so. Maybe different weights?
It's actually looking like a nice summer day out today here. It's been so UNBEARABLY hot here, not even fun to be outside.
Today it's about 75 degrees and sunny. My perfect day. I made a date later after the mouthy one gets off work...we are going go play some frisbee. woot!
Sorry you are a penguin. Think warm thoughts? ;)
I was snoopy for the weekend. Shag's husband rangersnoopy (from OT and the 'verse) lost a tough battle with cancer on Saturday. I was wearing the
snoopy in his honor.
It's still cold here, but at least no rain lately. We've been getting lots lately. Making my stupid lawn grow like mad. Funny you mention frisbees,
we just bought two on the weekend to play with! I didn't realize that Wham-O brand ones were so expensive! ($9.99) But we liked it because it was softer,
not so hard on the tips of the fingers when you miss a grab!! We also got a cool one that lights up, we're gonna try it out some night.
